PARTNERING ON VALUE

Poor Communication is COSTLY and equals poor outcomes!

To give you an idea of the COST of poor communication in dollars:

The Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) surveyed 400 companies with 100,000 or more employees and found that those companies reported losing $62.4 million per year in revenue due to poor communication. That’s $62.4 million per company, which totals more than $24 billion dollars!

Now, imagine that each of those 24 billion dollars represent actual lives impacted because of poor communication! As of 2017 in the United States, there were approx. 14.65 million LGBTQ+ identified people, with an increase of 5.6% in recent analysis. Of that 14.65 million, only 1.2 million LGBTQ+ identified people are black!

That means that if you consider those numbers, and the impact of poor communication on the business of healthcare due to discrimination, racism, and harassment, then EVERY LGBTQ+ identified person in US has potentially been negatively impacted several times over by poor communication with health providers... WOW!
